North Dakota requires Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours as a condition for renewal of licensure. Satisfactory documentation of a minimum of sixty (60) hours of study completed within the thirty-six month period proceeding renewal is required.
If you have not been licensed in North Dakota for a full thirty-six months before renewal, you are required to show completion of a minimum of twenty (20) hours of study for each calendar year of licensure. This requirement is waived for the first year of licensure.
